Chemical connections 
Very pretty but probably not the best way to present these data – difficult to judge the ratio of areas, and hence difficult to interpret. I like the other graph a lot though! I didn’t realise PLOS One was so huge; I’ve probably only read a couple dozen papers from it ever.
Fair point! I guess I was focusing too much on pretty…
